For Frannie - another Maddie video and our Starbucks habit

We went on another of our weekend drives and Maddie insisted on sharing a couple of songs with everyone.

Notice how she can ignore the two others pestering her to get through her song, then take care of them when she is done?

Okay she also wanted to sing Itsy Bitsy Spider, but she had some difficulty, well I just let you see for yourself.....

What do you think about the sound effects to end the song???? Yeah thats my kids for ya.

Also I haven't mentioned in the previous posts one of the things we always do on our weekend drives up the gorge. See Kelly and I have a Starbucks addiction and when we go somewhere I used to ask Kelly if we were going anywhere so now whenever we go for a drive like this Kelly says we are going to Starbucks...in Hood River...which is a 2 hour drive from here. Sounds weird to most people because here in Oregon there is a Starbucks within a mile radius of, oh just about anywhere you go. But its a destination right?

Where am I going with this? Well we go so often that everyone has there own Starbucks personal mug.....

Yes they are all Starbucks mugs kids size with chocolate milk or hot chocolate of course cause I'm not crazy enough to buy them real coffee although they would drink it. Peolple think this is strange but they don't spill and the kids think they are really cool when they bring their Starbucks mugs in and hand them to the person and order their own drink. I drink Pepermint Mocha's and Kelly drinks a Caramel Mociato with 3 x the Caramel sauce (he really like the caramel). So wether its teas or coffee do any of you have a favorite drink? We think they make them best in Hood River but it may just be the drive and family time we really enjoy.

I seriously can not get enough of that child! I am totally available to babysit anytime. Not that you are close to Atlanta, but hey, you'll drive two hours for a cup of coffee! not telling how far you'd go for a free babysitter.

I used to take my youngest nanny child to starbucks all the time. She would get so mad because she wanted the boxed chocolate milk, which was tiny and cost about $2.75. But they would make her a huge homemade milk with chocolate and caramel for $1.50. I would have to get them to put a little whip cream on top, so she would not fuss about wanting the other kind.

keep the videos coming!

It's 10:34 p.m. on a Saturday night, and you just made me want to go to Starbucks.

Damn you.

haha, jocelyn I'm sorry but I had to comment on it!

Frannie, if you lived closer I would let you babysit Maddie in a heartbeat! She is great with sitters and a huge comedian. I haven't touched on half of her behavior here yet.

Luv the videos of Madison - and the finale "sound bites"!!

See it was raining - sorry you had lousy weather - still makes up for it a trip to Starbucks - I am so so envious - one has to travel even further here.

And now my mug of coffee - next to me - looks bland and unwanted!!

You have such a wonderful and amazing blog site - daily visit as recommended!!!

Hope Sunday - will be Sunny - perhaps Joshua - can say the forecast again!!

Forgot to add - Izzak showing his protective and reassuring stance by placing his hands around each of his sisters in Starbucks.

A wonderful photo.

ps Still looking at my coffee - it's missing something!!!

You can be soooo soooo cruel - Starbucks!!

I love it....more Starbuck's junkies. Now I don't have to feel so bad. I was going to happen to my kids. So I did the same thing. I bought them mugs so they LOOK like they are drinking Starbucks, but without the price. Besides it takes money away from mommy's Starbuck's addiction. And of course my addiction of choice is an iced caramel macchiato. My second fav is a peppermint mocha. We are so sad!!!!
