View from our new house!

I've been promising pics of our new house for a couple of days now but Blogger is being a pain in the butt and not letting me post any pictures, very agravating! So I had to go in through Picasa and do it that way instead.

Anyway here are some pics for you.

Here is the view to the front but kind of to the left a bit. The island out there is Gravina Island the same Island you could see from our old house. We are actually kind of just up the hill from the old house but in a round about way.

Here is a little more to the left. I took these yesterday during a few moments of no rain or snow just very cold, but the sky was nearly clear so it made for some pretty good picture taking anyway.

Kind of straight to the front off the porch.
This is to the right of the house. You can see a house in the trees that looks a lot closer in this picture then it really is.

Of course today was much different so this was the view from our porch! Today was no sunshine just a lot of snow all day!

Here is a pic showing what you see from the driveway if you are looking at the backside of the house. Kelly loves the large garage by the way, something he has always wanted to be big enough for his things and honestly this one is bigger then it looks. The trees in the back are all part of the forest land no one behind us for the rest of the island which is pretty large. I like that. Kelly and the boys can actually go hunting next year and just go out the backyard into the woods a ways.

Of course you know right now with the new pups home I can't help but share some pics with you all though right?

Kodiak crashed on Kellys chair....she is so spoiled.

Like I said we got a lot of snow today and she loved playing in it.

Hopefully blogger will cooperate with me a little more tomorrow and I will try to upload more pics but doing it this way takes even more time then when blogger works right. I have some of the kids I'd like to show you but we will save that for another time.

Hmm--couldn't see the last two photos--the thing must not be working!!! But love the pictues that did show--awesome. What was the temperature there---that is what I wonder. I heard it was really cold way way up north in Alaska---minus 49 yesterday!

Those are some beautiful pictures. I have put up a post today that has 2 learning (spelling) games. Then I thought about you. I remembered you had one or so that had dyslexia like mine. So, I thought I would come over and share. I'm usually the one that types and they find the words.
Hope you have a great day!

man, that view is gorgeous.

here's a blogger photo tip for you: often, i can't load photos in safari. it just sits there. but if i switch to firefox, they load instantly, every time.

so try firefox. i could only see about half of these pictures, so you're going to have to reload anyway....

beautiful, beautiful pictures. i assume you took them during the 10 minutes of daylight that you have???

The views from your new home are absolutely stunningly beautiful.

A paradise for sure and certainly a big difference from Oregon I would imagine .....

Enjoy and savour every moment of settling into your new home and looking forward to seeing more photos.

Just realised those stairs to your house

I guess if I come visiting - you will have to fit a 'chair-lift' one's age ;)

The size of your garage - is about the size of my bungalow, now I wonder if I take the wall down and then I could drive my wee car in.....

The view from your house is just beautiful, you are so lucky. The pup pictures are not showing up on my screen either. Funny though, Im just sitting here imagining them waiting for them to come up. They are so cute, too hard to forget them.

Terri when I read your post yesterday the last two photos wouldn't load; so I came back today, same problem and also the 4th from the bottom not loading today.

Anyway the views that I can see are quite spectacular. You are so lucky to live in place of such natural beauty.
