Moving day....again

So this weekend we are moving to the new house hoping to be done by tomorrow. Then the long process begins of unpacking since a lot of our stuff was still packed from the first move here. I am really anxious to get it done though since we have things all over the place stored since they wouldn't be needed here in this house.

I took Kenzie to the dr on Thursday. I wasn't impressed with the dr we saw though. I have seen the 3 pediatritions in town now and only really like the one I was seeing with Joshua. I guess that makes it a pretty easy decision on who to take the kids to regularly though, right? He just left me feeling frustrated and I had to basically ask him to run a blood test on Kenzie. She just has not been feeling well and has a lot less energy lately and not eating much so I wanted to do a basic at least check to make sure things were okay. He was to obsessed with her normal stomach issues and not wanting to listen to what she had to say about it being different. The kid really has had the other stomach issues as long as she can remember, I honestly think she is a pretty good gage as to wether it is in a different area and a different feeling from her normal. Don't you think?

Oh well. Hopefully either she starts perking up here soon or we can figure out if something is going on.

The rest of the house is doing okay other then Kelly and I both having colds. Ah I guess this time he's gonna do the sick thing while moving right along with me. Maybe he'll figure what it's like to be moving and feeling like crud at the same time.

Anyway they are hooking up the cable and internet at the new house today so I will probably be shut off here at this house anytime now. It will take a couple of days for us to get things set up at the new house so I will see you in a couple of days unless we get busy!

Having to move when you feel under par must be so difficult. Anyway hope it goes without a hitch.

The dr should really listen to Kenzie as clearly she knows how she feels~ no wonder you weren't impressed!

Good luck with your move and just keep plugging away despite the cold, with the great goal in mind that you won't have to move for awhile and you get to see your stuff again. Truthfully, I always like the unpacking better as it is more exciting and you can do it more relaxed.

I hope the Dr. finds what is wrong. Perhaps it is environmental and when you move to the new house the trigger won't be there and everything will be okay.

Happy moving Terri!
Hopefully you can get things figured out with Kenzie soon. Am waiting for new house pics and you haven't even moved in yet! Hope you start feeling better soon..I hurt my neck/shoulder on NY's eve and have been waiting for it to get better...what a frustration...I get impatient with these things ...just want it to go away so I can get moving! I don't like being slowed down--not that I move very fast anyway!! Ha! Well Happy New year to you and your family..I hope this is a really good year for you guys in your new setting! take care~Heather

Best of luck with the latest move. I don't envy you! But it will be good in the end.

Your new header, the montage of kid photos, is so striking, btw.

What a bummer to be stuck with so few options of docs for your kids. That makes things tough.

I hope your move is going well and no one is slacking through the cold bug .....

Look to the excitement within your new home and the joy of now being able to place things in a homely fashion - the way you want too.

As for Kenzie, I think Dawn may well be right and I hope the situation will rectify itself over coming days.

My eating intake is really low and rely upon fluids - which help cleanse the stomach and I am weakened to the point of more sleep.

Just ensure Kenzie has plenty of fluid intake at the moment.

Enjoy the move and look forward to seeing you again - courtesy of the blog..
