Saturday

So today was good. I went to lunch with my mother, grandma, sister and 2 nieces. We had a good lunch and talked alot. That was about it there. Sound exciting? Nope not really.

After that we went to the park where I met up with my friend Becky and her little boy Tanner. We had dinner at the park and the kids played.

Tanner had a dragonfly land on his hand and it stayed there for the longest time.

It was pretty cool. Every once in awhile it would fly off then come right back to him to sit on his finger. This lasted for probably a good half hour!

Then my kids decided they wanted to play badmiton.

They had fun but my favorite part? Just take a look at the next to videos....

I love dragonflies! At my wedding we had a swarm of them fly around us when we said our vows- ever since I have collect unique things with dragonflies on them. It was really unusual to have the them there since we got married on a high rise in Denver!! Looks like you all had a great day!

You'll think I'm whacked but dragonflies give me the willies. Snakes, spiders, no problem. But dragonflies. Ugh.

I just love days like that. A great lunch and then time at the park where the kids can really kick back and have fun.

The dragonfly picture is cool! How neat that it kept coming back.

Thanks for all of your wonderful comments on my blog, by the way. :)
