Fun Day

So today ended up being a good day if you click on the post below I will let Joshua tell you the weather....

Madison wanted to share a song with you....

Did you notice she says "short and spout"?.. hehe.... my kids cute...

Went on a drive up the gorge which is basically the deviding line between Oregon and WAshington its right on the river the whole way and a lot of really pretty views. Anyone who has wondered how well my kids can entertain themselves you can watch them play at a rest stop picnic table. Notice how they can dance to their own music.... It was pretty windy and I had a hard time trying to get the camera not to pick up so much sound so if it sounds like a huge storm comming thats what it is...wind.

It was actually pretty warm today even with the wind the girls were so excited they insisted on wearing shorts, and dresses but were completly fine....

Here are some pictures of the day the first two are from the rest stop we really like to go here as the view is really pretty and there is a lot of places for the kids to run around. After that is Washingtons Stonehendge it is a monument built after WWI for the people in the area we are at that died in that war.

The last pictures here are of the kids playing more at the rest stop.

Loved the videos of your children - Joshua has found is vocation as a weather forecaster and Madison's singing talents too!!

The scenic views are amazing - I thought it was here in Scotland with the Lochs - I can see the kids loved the day - one can tell Spring has sprung.

Also one photo - looked like Stonehenge in Salisbury in England!!.

I must invest in a Digital camera - you have set me off now!!!

Today (Sunday it Mothering Sunday here so may families are pampering their mums - is it the same in the U.S.?

Also we had some snow - but it is just lying on the hills and from my bungalow the views are stunning of the Ochil Hills covered in snow.

Pleased the girls like Beatrix Potter and the music too - and pleased you put the boys in place - I still luv Beatrix Potter Tales - a joy whatever age!!!

Thank you for sharing such a delightful blog - a joy to see.

Every good wishes from the wee county of Scotland.

hi terri,

i came here early this morning, and am coming back now to leave my comments. this was such a good idea video taping your children on your drive. the scenery is beautiful.

great weather forcasting from Joshua and Madison! ooh yeah baby! (that was what McKenzie had said on the video) *lol* love it, love it , love it.!!!

and madison making her singing debut in national blogland. *lol* love it! i did notice the "short and spout." very cute. *lol*

them playing together reminds me of when i was growing up with my 1 sister and 3 brothers. we had some good times together, and there were enough of us to make our own fun. our dad took us on drives almost every sunday. thanx for sharing your children with us. they've made my day. put a laugh in my heart and a smile on my face. enjoy the rest of your weekend!

blessings,
sylvia

Frannie, I had to go back and listen to the video again of Madison singing and yes she says "when I get a team up". I had her sing it to me again and yep thats what she says. I love little kids and listening to their interpretations of songs.

Did I hear Madison correctly?

"The clouds will come out when you die"

Perhaps a philosopher of the future!!

I just luv the views too - such scenic beauty - thanks for sharing on your journal.

What a beautiful fun looking day! I loved all of the videos and pitcures. Makes me long for the green grass we won't likely see for at least a month or so yet.
