3 posts in a day!

3 posts in a day I think that is a big one for me.

So the kids are doing better. I am not sure if Kenzie has gained any of the weight back yet but she is definetly feeling so much better this week. I swear taking the kids to the dr is a sure fire way to get them better!

This week was going pretty well except I tried to kill myself and Izzak yesterday. I was driving him to his burn clinic appt and it had been raining when traffic decided to just stop in front of me. When I tried to brake my brakes locked up on me and put us into a spin. My rear tires decided to fishtail and I did a full 180 degree turn ending up facing oncoming traffic in the wrong direction. I have to say it was one of the scariest moments of my life. Fortunatly we are both okay the front of my Durango did hit another car on the side during the spin but everyone was okay and only a little bit of damage. Honestly though I have to say someone had to be watching over us at the time because it was during a busy time for traffic and there was a lot of traffic on the road at the time we are really lucky to be alive!

The good thing is though that Izzak got to his burn clinic appt and they said he is doing wonderful and the burn is almost healed. He still has the large area that now has fresh pink skin on it but he still has to be really careful as it could tear if he were to get hit by something in the wrong way. He is happy because he is out of PE until April. Also he has to make sure to put a lot of sunscreen on it when the sun is out or he could really damage it.

We are doing good though I am not really worried about stuff I figure with everything that has happend this month we have to be done for the rest of the year right? Well I sincerly hope so! Geez.....

I have just decided since last year in February was a bad month also (although not like this one) that next year I am not going to get out of bed or leave the house in February. What do you think? I can handle that...

I feel like leaving this post with another scanned baby pic of Izzak who as you know will be turning 12 in a few weeks! That boy loved the dirt and Papa made a spot in his garden just for him to play in. Doesn't he look happy!

3 people had something to say:

Very sweet picture of Izaak as baby!I like it!It´s nice to see when little children play in dirty ground.Better as parents when they say to their children: Don´t make your clothes dirty and be careful!

Oh My Goodness! I'm so glad that you and Izzak are okay!! I've been in a few car accidents - I know how terrifying they can be.

I hope vehicle repairs are minor and won't cost an arm and a leg.

Very cute picture of Izzak. :)

Thanks Steffi, we seem to have a lot of pics of Izzak in the dirt he was really into it and his Papa had a large garden that he brought him out into to play when he worked in it, like I said he had his own patch of dirt.

Debbie thanks for the comment. It was a terrifying accident I swear It saw our lives flash before before our eyes but fortunatly not to bad of damage and no one was hurt! We really were lucky!
